Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking a Group X Coach to lead engaging group exercise sessions for a diverse member base. You will deliver pre-choreographed or freestyle classes, either in person or via virtual platforms, with a focus on safety, inclusivity and motivation.

You will foster a welcoming environment, connect with participants, and strive to enhance attendance through energetic instruction and strong communication. This role supports a busy club and may involve weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and principles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with a wide variety of people.
• Enthusiastic and energetic approach to creating a community feel within a group session or class.
• Current approved group exercise primary certification and HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Instruct pre-choreographed or freestyle group sessions and classes in person or via virtual technology.
• Create welcoming, encouraging and challenging sessions for members of varying fitness levels.
• Educate members on safe techniques and guidelines to ensure high-quality, safe classes.
• Aim to increase attendance by engaging and motivating participants.
• Coordinate substitutes for sessions as needed and maintain class scheduling.
