Job summary

San Manuel seeks a Landscaper to maintain the Tribal Reservation and San Manuel properties. You will perform weed abatement, regular landscaping maintenance and debris cleanup, and operate tractors and light equipment in an outdoor environment.

You must have a High School Diploma or GED, read and write well, and possess customer service skills. A valid driver license and ability to work extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools; operate trucks and light equipment.
• Pleasant attitude and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform weed abatement and fertilization for trees, lawns, flowers, shrubs and hedges.
• Conduct regular landscaping maintenance.
• Clean debris and waste from the Tribal Reservation and San Manuel properties.
• Maintain roads and parking lots.
• Operate tractors and riding equipment; ensure safe operation.
• Conduct erosion control measures (e.g., jute netting, wattles, sandbags).
• Clear water drains as needed.
• Identify and address plant problems; recommend treatments.
• Perform additional duties to support department operations.
