Tx:Team is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for the Frederick Health Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab Aspen Ridge Outpatient Clinic in Frederick, MD. In this busy outpatient setting, you will be the first point of contact for patients, handle scheduling, registrations, and insurance questions, and help create a welcoming experience.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of medical office front desk experience, familiarity with EMR and scheduling software, and strong customer service,

Qualifications

• Two years medical office front desk experience preferred.
• Understanding patient insurance benefits and ability to explain.
• Experience using EMR and scheduling systems preferred.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones
• Schedule patient appointments for Physical Therapy services
• Perform office supply inventory weekly
• Organize & compile patient charts for therapists
• Perform patient registration on first visit, including forms
• Input patient transactions and collect co-pays
• Daily completion of clinic data and entry
• Close clinic at end of day with reconciliations and schedules
