Job summary

Qualifications

• Background check and fingerprinting required.
• HSE diploma is required.
• No professional work experience required.
• CDE substitute authorization or teaching license required.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office.
• Basic classroom management and planning skills.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication and interpersonal relations.
• Ability to support programs designed to increase student achievement.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Ability to understand and accommodate student diversity.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one situations; follow lesson plans.
• Create a classroom environment that maximizes instructional opportunity and supervise student behavior.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to improve student outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
