Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Regular and punctual attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the building principal or designee on arrival at the school.
• Reviews plans and schedules with the principal or designee for the teaching day.
• Maintains routines and procedures of the classroom.
• When absent, teaches the lesson as outlined by the substitute guide.
• Oversees pupil behavior in class, lunch, and recess.
• Reports daily activities on forms provided at day end.
