Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year forklift operating experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• General computer knowledge; basic Warehouse Management System skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent customer service.
• Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• High attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments from containers or railcars and move products to storage.
• Use warehouse management system on a tablet to scan materials and annotate paperwork.
• Stack and store cargo using forklifts and other equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment and verify quantities.
• Move products from staging areas into containers or trailers.
• Operate forklifts and equipment safely following SOPs.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report deficiencies.
• Follow OSHA safety policies and use PPE.
• Assist with housekeeping and general warehouse cleanliness.
