Job summary

Kenco Group in Savannah, GA is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move products and materials in a fast-paced distribution setting. You will operate powered equipment, load/unload, and maintain accurate inventory and labeling processes to support shipping and receiving demands.

The role requires forklift experience, a valid license if applicable, and basic computer skills. You will collaborate with team members to maintain safety standards and support continuous improvements in operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years forklift operating experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution.
• Load, unload, and store products and/or materials.
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas.
• Use equipment to scan product and print labels.
• Complete paperwork and operate inventory systems as needed.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Complete cycle counts as required.
• Perform daily safe inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks.
• Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor.
