Job summary

Savannah Distributing Company is seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Forklift & Order Fulfillment Associates to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for accurately picking and moving products, loading and unloading trucks, operating warehouse equipment, conducting inventory checks, restocking products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Forklift and/or order picker experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, move, and stage products for orders and deliveries.
• Load and unload delivery trucks as needed.
• Operate forklifts, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Deliver products to designated warehouse areas while ensuring accuracy.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory control.
• Restock products in the appropriate warehouse locations.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse management software to locate, track, and process products.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and equipment guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Assist with additional warehouse functions as operational needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
