Job summary

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in Colorado Springs is seeking a Food Runner/Busser to bridge the dining room and the kitchen, helping to create a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests.

No prior restaurant experience is required, but a passion for hospitality and strong communication are essential. You must be able to stand for long hours, work evenings and weekends, and maintain an energetic, guest-first attitude in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Past restaurant experience is not required but preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Answer guest questions regarding the menu and KPOT brand.
• Provide accurate information regarding menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Listen attentively to guests to ensure their needs are met.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Observe and monitor table turnover by taking note of occupied, dirty or clean tables.
• Support the front-of-house team in resetting tables quickly to seamlessly transition tables to guests.
• Inform management of large parties, special requests, or guest concerns.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with the kitchen staff and management regarding allergy orders.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and hospitality-focused attitude at all times.
• Multi-task and balance between bar and dining room orders.
• Be a team player, assisting other team members whenever needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
