FiveStar Food Mart is seeking a Food Service Manager to partner with the General Manager in planning, supervising, and managing operations in the food service area at our Glasgow, KY location. You will oversee customer service, merchandising, and staff training while ensuring health and food safety compliance.

In this role you will work closely with management to ensure top customer service, adherence to company policies, and efficient inventory and equipment upkeep.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of food service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of food-service equipment.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and excellent time management.
• Team player, customer focused, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance.

Aufgaben

• Partner with the General Manager in planning, supervising, and managing operations in the food service area.
• Communicate merchandising, customer service, food safety, storage, preparation, sanitation, supervision, and training.
• Stay up to date and informed in health and food safety regulations and company policies.
• Follow policy on inventory control, food quality, equipment maintenance and cleaning, and production guides for food preparation (weights, portions, assembly).
• Coordinate with General Manager on communications related to food service (emails, specials, programs).
• Merchandise planning including signage, pricing, freshness, and presentation of products.
• Promote company food service sales promotions.
• Collaborate with General Manager to train and supervise staff in food service responsibilities.
