Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician in Wisconsin. You will maintain diesel tractors, trailers, and related equipment, perform diagnostics, and ensure safety and reliability across the fleet.

The role supports preventive maintenance and repair with documentation of all work. The position offers opportunities for ASE certification, tool reimbursement, and pay differentials. A strong background in heavy truck maintenance is required or a FedEx Apprentice program

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
One year of vehicle maintenance experience or completion of FedEx Freight Apprentice Program.
One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
Must have necessary tools to perform assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Performs preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
Performs basic diagnostics to identify sources of trouble and makes necessary adjustments.
Works with other technicians in preventative maintenance and repairs.
Documents maintenance work in reports written and electronic form.
Performs safety inspections and paints/body work as required.
Complies with laws, regulations, and company policies/procedures.
Performs other duties as required.
