Job summary

Houston Fitness Partners is seeking a Fitness Instructor to deliver Planet Fitness group classes, design basic workouts, and engage members with high-energy service. The role requires a friendly facilitator who can manage class flow, assist with inquiries, and maintain a safe, clean gym environment across multiple Planet Fitness locations in the Houston area.

Qualifications include 18+ years of age, a High School Diploma, and CPR/AED certification prior to employment; Nationally Certified

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Background check required.
• CPR/AED certification required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Planet Fitness PE@PF group fitness program and design simple workout plans on request.
• Encourage new and existing members to join fitness classes.
• Maintain a safe workout environment for members at all times.
• Assess individuals' abilities and needs and develop suitable training programs.
• Monitor participant progress and adapt programs as needed.
• Greet members and guests with high energy and assist with check-in, sign-ups, and inquiries.
• Answer phones promptly and provide friendly, accurate information.
• Conduct member tours to assess membership needs.
• Regularly clean and sanitize the club and equipment during the shift.
• Work at any Planet Fitness location within the Houston Fitness Partners network.
