Job summary

Futures Unlimited is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support repair, maintenance, safety, and appearance of all buildings and equipment under its management. You will work with the Property Manager and other staff to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and per agency standards.

The role involves assisting with security-related opening/closing, maintaining records, and supporting production aids as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of janitorial and/or equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate safe working methods.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of buildings, properties, and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and implement safety measures as directed.
• Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Technician supervisor and consumers to complete tasks.
• Help maintain accurate maintenance records as required.
• Support the daily opening and closing (security) of the physical plant as needed.
• Assist with plant layout and fabrication of production aids when requested.
• Help with delivery, shipping, and receiving functions as requested.
• Attend required meetings and participate in agency staff meetings.
• Complete 40 hours of annual job-related training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Director of Business Operations.
