Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations across commercial properties in Milwaukee, WI. The role focuses on troubleshooting, inspections, and upkeep of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and building interiors and exteriors.

Responsibilities include executing repairs, updating finishes, and ensuring safety compliance while providing reliable, on-site service. A high school diploma and 2+ years’ related experience are required with valid driving status.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or related areas.
Valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required) with good driving record.
Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems (packaging/handling machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, grounds equipment, HVAC).
Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Replace and repair building finishes (ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, painting walls, piping, floors, equipment).
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades or cost-saving opportunities.
Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned.
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
