Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a proactive promotions assistant to help develop, plan, and execute property promotions and events. You will assist with the calendar of promotions to meet property marketing and financial objectives, ensuring effective delivery and strong guest participation.

You will coordinate with property marketing strategies, collaborate with Marketing Shared Services, and interface with departments to implement promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning promotions and events preferred
• Ability to coordinate multiple channels and teams
• Comfortability with public speaking and emceeing events
• Strong organizational and guest service focus

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning of property promotions and events in conjunction with property marketing strategies and plans.
• Coordinate the effective execution of promotions to optimize participation and guest response.
• Work with Marketing Shared Services to effectively program desired promotions.
• Interface with pertinent property departments to ensure the effective implementation of promotions and events.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with current and potential outside vendors.
• Assist with the use of marketing channels to advertise promotions and events to targeted guests and prospective guests.
• Coordinate property resources to be utilized in the implementation of promotions and events.
• Assist with the gathering of guest photos and signed releases for promotion winners, jackpot winners, etc
• Must possess high energy and be detail oriented.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must work well under pressure and handle difficult circumstances with ease.
• Acts as emcee for various events in front of large crowds both on and off property.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding promotions and events.
• Other marketing and promotions duties as assigned.
