Job summary

Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA is seeking an Event Coordinator to join the Program Operations Team. The role coordinates classroom and program needs and provides on-site support for events, serving as the liaison between presenters, group leaders, and Kripalu departments to ensure successful delivery.

You will manage pre-production details, host presenters on arrival, lead meetings, maintain program schedules and BEOs, and collaborate across teams to continually improve

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a relevant area or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of event or program planning experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and plan with presenters and Kripalu departments to ensure successful delivery of programs and events.
• Coordinate pre-production details like schedule, supplies, AV, housing and transportation.
• Host presenters and group leaders on event day and resolve issues with Production/AV teams.
• Lead meetings related to management of large programs or livestreams.
• Maintain program schedule screens and create/update BEOs.
• Participate in weekly BEO meetings and contribute to process improvements.
• Support coverage for shifts and flexible scheduling as needed.
