Jackson Lewis P.C. seeks an Associate attorney for its Silicon Valley, California office in Palo Alto. The role focuses on defending and litigating employment‑related matters, advising employers, and handling class/collective actions and related disputes.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of employment law experience, CA Bar admission, and strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities to support a high‑volume practice.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.
• 4–6 years of experience, employment law background strongly preferred.
• Current CA Bar admission in good standing.
• Understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment‑related claims and agency charges.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues.
• Class Action/PAGA experience preferred but not required.
• Represent employers in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non‑compete cases.
