Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction in good standing.
• 2–6 years of substantive experience in employment law, including litigation and counseling.
• Experience drafting and reviewing employment agreements, handbooks, policies, severance agreements, and related documents.
• Experience with employment litigation including single-plaintiff and class actions, wage-and-hour, ERISA, and related proceedings.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Strong commitment to client service and responsiveness.
• Excellent interpersonal, networking, and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment and HR counseling to clients.
• Review, analyze, and draft employment agreements, handbooks, policies, severance agreements, and related documents.
• Handle employment litigation matters including single-plaintiff and class actions, ERISA claims, wage-and-hour cases.
• Take and defend depositions, manage written discovery, draft motions, and examine witnesses.
• Advise on sensitive personnel matters and assist with policy development and implementation.
• Support traditional labor matters and proceedings with NLRB.
• Contribute to due diligence in mergers and acquisitions with employment provisions.
• Help develop litigation strategy and case management.
• Conduct and support internal investigations.
• Assist team with additional employment and labor matters.
