Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency in Marietta, GA is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinary Receptionist to welcome clients, manage schedules, and support hospital operations during high‑volume, urgent care visits. You will coordinate arrivals, check-ins, payments, and records while staying calm under pressure and communicating with veterinarians, technicians, and clients with compassion.

Veterinary experience is valued; strong human healthcare or high‑volume client service

Qualifications

• Veterinary reception or healthcare operations experience preferred.
• Confident communicating with clients in person and by phone.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Calm under pressure and able to make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and support clients during Emergency and Specialty visits.
• Coordinate patient arrival, check-in, discharge, transfers, and follow-up communication.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately during stressful situations.
• Manage phones, scheduling, payments, records, and client requests.
• Coordinate closely with Emergency Veterinarians, technicians, Criticalists, and specialty teams.
• Help maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced hospital.
• Maintain accurate client and patient information.
• Build your knowledge of Emergency and Specialty Veterinary Medicine.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional client-facing environment.
