About Play, LLC seeks an Early Intervention Specialist to serve in South Carolina’s Midlands/Lancaster counties. The role requires residing in SC and involves travel to Orangeburg, Bamberg and St.

Matthews areas, delivering family-centered services for birth to six years with developmental delays or disabilities. The position emphasizes energetic, creative professionals with strong time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements are a Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field plus 1 year of documented experience with children birth to six years.
• Prior early interventionist experience is preferred.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in ANY field with 5 years of relevant experience with infants/toddlers.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with delays or disabilities.
• Perform family training with the caregiver and child in home, daycare, or natural environments.
• Provide training and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote child development.
• Monitor progress of the child and family.
