About Play, LLC in South Carolina seeks an Early Intervention Specialist to deliver family-centered early intervention services for birth to six years in Columbia and surrounding counties. Must reside in SC and have at least 1 year of experience with children ages 0-6.

The role includes home, daycare or natural environment visits, family training, and developing strategies to promote development. Travel up to 50-75% with a base salary of $40,000 and mileage reimbursement; earnings may reach up

Qualifications

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or related field plus 1 year of documented experience with children birth to six.
Prior EI experience preferred or recent/upcoming graduate with related degree and willingness for on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with delays or disabilities.
Perform family training in home, daycare or natural environment settings.
Provide training and support to families on child development, parenting, and family functioning.
Develop and implement strategies to promote child development.
Monitor progress of child and family.
