Job summary

The University of New Hampshire is seeking a Supervisor, Dining Hall Operations to lead a high-volume dining hall under Hospitality Services. You will supervise, train, and evaluate a diverse team of operating, adjunct, and student staff, ensuring quality food service and safe, compliant operations.

You will participate in food preparation and service as needed while maintaining guest service standards and managing shift leadership and team communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years supervisory experience in a food service operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate staff across multiple food concepts to ensure seamless daily service.
• Train, coach, and develop staff; ensure proper food handling, temperatures, and safety standards.
• Assist with labor tracking, scheduling, and payroll processing for student employees; monitor inventory and waste.
