Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in a discipline relevant to the position.
• A record of scholarly achievement and academic accomplishments able to receive tenure and be appointed as full professor.
• At least 5 years in leadership roles with progressive levels of responsibility.
• Commitment to land‑grant mission and public service.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement across campuses and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide personnel oversight for the College, including the recruitment of a diverse faculty and staff, and support for professional growth and development
• Provide leadership in and oversight of the College’s instructional, research, extension and outreach missions
• Serve as chief academic officer of the College
• Foster cross-campus collaborations with other deans and campus leaders
• Oversee the College’s budget and long‑term planning
• Provide leadership for the College’s advancement and alumni activities
• Promote an inclusive campus climate
• Provide oversight and leadership of the Wisconsin Agricultural Experiment Station
