Brink's, Incorporated in the United States seeks a Customs DDB Entry Specialist to serve as liaison for the internal Brinks Brokerage Company, import/export departments and customers, handling documentation and the customs clearance process for BGS shipments.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in freight forwarding FTZ/customs clearance or similar.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and industry software.
• Be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customs entries and follow the clearance process.
• Scan, file, copy, and assemble documents.
• Handle duty drawback files start to finish.
• Communicate discrepancies to client and supervisor.
• Review rates, trace product movement, file entries with Customs.
• Prepare documents: bills of lading, licenses, consulate docs.
• Process post-entry work: rulings, refunds, protests, drawbacks.
• Process quota entries.
• Verify origin/export, IOR, terms of sale and value.
• Establish and maintain client relationships.
• Stay up-to-date on customs changes.
