Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville is seeking a night-shift Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Float Pool. The role covers Critical Care units, Stepdown, PACU and ED with flexible placements based on patient needs.

The position supports safe patient care through continuous assessment and collaboration with the health care team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant nursing experience, be a graduate of an approved program, and hold an active RN license.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (NCLEX) and active license in state.
• 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in acute/critical care.
• Graduate of an approved program for nursing education.
• Experience in critical care settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and care needs.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts interventions to achieve goals.
• Promotes a safe and healthy environment and high-quality care.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
