Vanderbilt Health is seeking Float Pool Critical Care Nurses for night shift assignments in the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Adult Hospital. The role emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and flexible staffing to support high-quality patient care.

As part of our inpatient nursing team, you will participate in the nursing process, care planning, and patient education while delivering safe, evidence-based care across ICU, stepdown, PACU and ED units.

Qualifications

• Certifications: LIC-Registered Nurse
• Work Experience: Relevant Work Experience
• Experience Level: 2 years
• Education: Graduate of an approved discipline specific program

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
