Job summary

Adventist Health Portland is seeking an RN for night shift to deliver coordinated nursing care to patients in our East Portland facility. This role supervises various levels of nursing staff and coordinates care with multidisciplinary teams.

Candidates should have an RN license in the state of practice, BSN is preferred, and CPR/BLS certification is required. Acute care experience is preferred and a commitment to safety and quality care is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Acute care facility experience is preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• CPR or BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy is required.

Responsibilities

• Collects data pertinent to the patient’s health and analyzes it to determine care needs.
• Develops and implements a plan, coordinates care and evaluates outcomes.
• Collaborates with patients, families and healthcare team members to provide safe, compassionate care.
• Assists in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates tasks appropriately and coordinates duties of the healthcare team.
