Job summary

The Critical Care Registered Nurse Float at Vanderbilt Health provides patient-centered care across the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Adult Hospital. You will apply the nursing process, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the health care team to meet patient goals and continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and annual BLS/ACLS as required.
• 2+ years in critical care or acute care settings.
• Strong assessment and patient/family education skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to plan and deliver patient care across units.
• Assess and monitor patient progress and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge.
• Support a flexible float pool placement as needed.
