Job summary

Pasadena Post Acute is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Occupational Therapist in delivering resident care and helping achieve treatment goals. You will document accurately, assist with safety, infection control, and participate in care conferences, while educating residents and families on treatment plans and home programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required from an accredited COTA program.
• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in California.
• Proficient in data entry into clinical software systems.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Document timely, accurate, and compliant records per facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and rehabilitation meetings as needed.
• Assist in training Restorative Aides.
• Communicate with supervising OT to update physicians and care teams.
• Provide in-services on training for staff as needed.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
