Job summary

Ojai Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the Occupational Therapist in resident care in a California facility. The role focuses on treatment under supervision, accurate documentation, and maintaining a safe, compliant treatment environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Staff Occupational Therapist with resident care.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation compliant with facility, governmental, and third-party payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control, safety, and equipment maintenance protocols.
• Communicate with the supervising occupational therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding progress, goals, and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, safety techniques, and fall prevention.
