Job summary

EXOS in California is seeking a Performance Coach to design and lead fitness programs in a corporate wellness setting. You will run group classes, tailor workouts, and monitor safety for a diverse client base, including high-risk populations.

You will also provide one-on-one training, conduct assessments, and develop personalized plans while supporting incentive and health-promotion programs. Administrative duties help keep the facility running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology.
• Current Personal Trainer certification from NASM/ACSM/NSCA/ACE is required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.
• Experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• 1+ years of industry experience; internship experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and design personalized exercise plans.
• Provide one-on-one consultations, personalized training, and motivation.
• Assist with implementing incentive, health-promotion, and specialty programs to drive engagement.
• Manage administrative tasks for fitness facility operations.
