Job summary

BC Lynd Hospitality seeks a Sales Coordinator for the Harlingen Convention Center to handle clerical tasks, marketing materials, and coordination support for the sales team.

The role requires a friendly, customer-focused demeanor, strong communication, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines; experience in a conference center or related field is preferred, with proficiency in MS Office and Quore/TEAMS knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years progressive experience in a conference center or related field preferred.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and email messages; respond accordingly.
• Prepare and send month end accounting spreadsheets.
• Assist with event payment collections and past due collections.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies and file correspondence.
• Greet customers/clients/associates when necessary and maintain a service oriented demeanor.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and support the Sales Manager as needed.
