Job summary

The Harlingen Convention Center is seeking a Conference Service Sales Manager to plan, coordinate and ensure the execution of all conference group activities. You will be the primary liaison between clients and staff, upholding our mission, core values, and property policies.

You’ll promote ancillary services, coordinate site visits, and manage event orders to achieve client satisfaction and ensure smooth, profitable group events.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience in hotel, convention center, or conference services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and ensures execution of group events including timing, room setups, and A/V needs.
• Coordinates with clients and staff to meet meeting objectives and service standards.
• Promotes ancillary services and up-sells to maximize department profitability.
• Coordinates site visits, quotes, contracts, and group billing accuracy.
• Maintains professional image and adheres to grooming standards and policies.
