The ideal candidate will have a finance or accounting background and 3+ years of related underwriting experience. A commitment to integrity, excellent communication, and client service is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• 3+ years of related experience is desired.
• Experience in underwriting or surety is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze reports utilized in the underwriting processes, including financial statements, job schedules, bank agreements, and credit reports.
• Assess risk quality in compliance with company’s best practices.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships, both internally and externally.
• Communicate effectively.
