Job summary

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Recreation Support role to assist CNIC MWR activities at NAS Oceana and Dam Neck Bowling Alleys. You will help run customer service, registrations, and daily operations for a range of community recreation programs and events.

Responsibilities include processing payments, maintaining inventory, and assisting with event promotion and execution to support local service members and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or recreation activities.
• Ability to organize and administer special events.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Knowledge of goals and procedures for leisure activity planning.
• Familiarity with Navy MWR mission and recreation programs.
• Proficiency with computers, office procedures and related software.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and information for Community Recreation programs.
• Process sales and fees using POS and track daily transactions.
• Assist in registrations, event setup and program bookings.
• Maintain inventory, check-out/check-in of equipment and conduct inspections.
• Assist in planning, promoting and scheduling MWR events and activities.
• Support staff recruitment, training and scheduling as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and program standards.
