First Merchants Bank in Indiana is seeking a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team. This role will service and support Commercial Loans, performing maintenance and transactions in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with regulatory requirements and departmental procedures.

You will back the loan sales team, handle payments, payoffs, escrows, and corrections, and assist with testing Core Processing system enhancements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum two years in financial services, customer service or related processing.
• Prior banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial loan sales team with timely, accurate responses to requests.
• Maintain commercial loans via Workflow and other channels.
• Process loan transactions for payments, payoffs, exceptions, reversals, escrows, and corrections.
• Provide backup for wire transfer processing and history research.
• Assist with Core Processing system testing.
• Participate in special projects as assigned by Manager.
