Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage an inventory of low to moderate complexity commercial claims per policy, verify coverage and document files.
• Interact professionally with insureds and business partners to provide updates and timely responses.
• Assess coverage, establish reserves and follow claim handling procedures.
• Investigate to determine liability and negotiable settlements within authority limits.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to achieve optimal claim outcomes.
• Ensure disbursements within authority and maintain compliance with guidelines.
• Identify subrogation/fraud opportunities and escalate when needed.
• Maintain quality and cycle-time targets with accurate documentation.
