Job summary

VCU Health is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead and coordinate clinical, non-clinical, and quality improvement projects across departments. You will develop training materials, train staff, and manage day-to-day project operations while serving as a liaison to senior leadership.

The role involves planning and evaluating projects, creating reports and presentations, and coordinating meetings. Some night/weekend work and occasional travel may be required to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of project coordination and/or office management experience, including database management, development and production of reports and presentations, and program coordination.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications and e-mail/ calendaring.
• Five to seven years (5-7) of project coordination including database management, development and production of reports and presentations, and program coordination. Experience supervising other. Experience teaching others. Experience in an academic health care setting.
• Education/training REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plans, executes, and evaluates projects, programs, meetings, and conferences successfully.
• Proofs information for accuracy and efficacy.
• Develops and edits reports, presentations, and training materials.
• Directs and coordinates clinical, non-clinical and quality improvement projects and programs.
• Serves as a project liaison and maintains contact between project staff and senior level staff.
• Oversees and tracks daily project operations.
• Occasional night and/or weekend work to accommodate 24/7 operations and some travel to offsite locations.
