Job summary

Lorber, Greenfield & Olsen, LLP is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate for its Southern CA litigation team. You will handle substantive work from day one, including motions, depositions, trials, arbitrations, and mediations with access to firm partners.

The firm supports flexible work arrangements—remote, hybrid, or in-office—and offers a base salary range of $100,000–$150,000, with potential for compensation beyond that based on qualifications. CA Bar membership is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.
• California State Bar membership required.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions preferred.
• Background in construction or casualty claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery with precision and persuasion.
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations.
• Keep clients and insurers informed throughout the process.
• Own your docket and manage day-to-day litigation tasks with responsible billing.
