Job summary

Summit Healthcare Association is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant Resident for our SHMA Primary Care Pod in Show Low, AZ. The role is PRN with various shifts and on-site location.

The CMA will support patient care, perform EKGs, vaccines, venipuncture, and assist providers. Strong charting, EHR documentation, and infection control are required to ensure quality care and safety in a busy physician office.

Qualifications

• NCCT CMA cert or RN? (likely CMA) or higher is required.
• BLS CPR AED certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience scheduling appointments and documenting vitals.

Responsibilities

• Record patient vitals and chief complaints.
• Document in real time in patient charts and EHR.
• Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing (POCT).
• Administer vaccines and injections per physician orders.
• Assist providers with procedures and maintain sterile fields.
