Harvard University is seeking an experienced Event Manager for HUDS to independently plan and coordinate catered events across locations. You will build professional client relationships, manage event execution, and ensure high levels of service throughout planning and delivery.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in Hospitality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Evening and weekend work, along with strong communication, are essential.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/Hospitality Management or 5 years front-of-house catering experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays regularly.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manages execution of events across multiple locations with staff assignments and timelines.
• Coordinates pre-meal meetings, special requests, and post-event clean-up.
• Ensures events meet HUDS standards and dietary needs are documented.
• Builds relationships with clients, on-site managers and HUDS departments.
• Oversees site visits, orders items for events, and handles signage creation.
• Maintains EMS event information and ensures compliance with safety policies.
