Job summary

Globalchannelmanagement is seeking an Experienced Catering Manager to lead catering, events, concessions, and conference center operations at a university campus. You will oversee catering operations, manage event bookings, and drive profitability through menu costing and data-driven decisions.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3+ years in management with 3+ years in catering or events, plus HACCP/NSF knowledge. Availability for evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of management and 3+ years in catering or events.
• Catering knowledge, including menu development, costing, and data analysis.
• HACCP and NSF knowledge; ServSafe Manager a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead catering operations from client events to campus deliveries, transportation, equipment, logistics, and vehicle fleet.
• Oversee arts center events and concessions, including the Concessions Supervisor.
• Manage the conference center: event bookings, tours, and onsite event support.
• Develop menus and manage costing to balance quality and profitability.
• Recruit, train, coach, and lead supervisors and frontline staff; grow training programs.
• Enforce standards for HACCP, NSF, sanitation and safety checklists, uniforms, and pest control.
• Resolve guest issues and build strong client relationships.
• Run weekly huddles and support safety, customer service, and ambassador programs.
