Job summary

Beverage South Distributors in Georgia invites dynamic sales professionals to join our expanding GA/SC team. You will maximize sales and distribution of beer products, build relationships, and execute merchandising and reporting to hit objectives.

Requirements include 2 years of sales or consumer goods experience, at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Two years of sales or consumer goods experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Self-motivated and highly organized; demonstrate professional sales and administration skills.
• Goal oriented; able to prioritize multiple goals and strategies.
• Capable of time management, strategic planning, concise communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Physically able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Maximize retail sales for accounts by executing established sales, distribution, marketing, supplier and QA program goals.
• Develop a monthly plan to establish goals and strategically manage territory resources, time and talent.
• Complete month-end recap of actual performance against objectives.
• Execute pricing standards including price to consumer, shelf, display, POS and window pricing as appropriate.
• Design displays and marketing at retail that meet or exceed merchandising and retail standards.
• Ensure display locations are in high-traffic areas and products are accurately represented and stocked.
• Maintain current, themed point of sale and ensure accurate pricing and visibility.
• Rotate display stock to prioritize oldest products and align with promotional dates.
• Install permanent and paper POS and keep all placements current and relevant to the market.
• Increase consumer awareness and purchase intent through proactive distribution and shelf management.
