Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Hot Shot Driver to deliver batteries to dealers and assist with warehouse operations. You will run routes, load and unload batteries, and provide support to Route Managers while upholding safety standards.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing, and a clean driving record. Hands-on use of tablets and scanners is part of daily duties and you’ll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment in Fort Worth, TX.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Clean driving record and valid driver qualifications.
• Ability to operate motor vehicle or forklift.
• Familiarity with tablets and handheld scanners is required.

Responsibilities

• Run the Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis.
• Load and unload batteries.
• Perform general warehouse duties and assist customers as needed.
• Deliver batteries to customers on time and safely.
• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies.
• Ensure batteries are charged, cleaned, dated, and stock rotated properly.
• Accurately complete reports and claims.
• Interact professionally with team members, managers and customers.
• Fulfill all driver program requirements as directed by the manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
