Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Hot Shot Driver to deliver batteries to dealers and assist with warehouse operations. You will run assigned routes, load/unload batteries, and provide professional customer service.

Responsibilities include delivering on time, following safety policies, and maintaining battery stock and reports. A clean driving record and ability to operate a motor vehicle or forklift are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools is required (tablets, scanners).
• Must have a clean drivers record AND meet driver qualifications requirements.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Run the Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis as needed.
• Load and unload batteries.
• Deliver batteries to customers on a timely basis and in a safe and professional manner.
• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies.
