Job summary

Interstate Batteries in San Diego, CA is seeking a Hot Shot Driver to deliver batteries to dealers, assist with warehouse operations, and support Route Managers.

You will load and unload batteries, run assigned routes, maintain stock accuracy, and follow safety policies to ensure timely, professional deliveries.

Candidates should have basic reading/writing and math, computer literacy, and be comfortable with tablets/scanners; lifting up to 50–75 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn systems are required.
• Experience with tablets and barcode scanners is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run hot shots and routes as needed in a timely manner.
• Load and unload batteries; assist with warehouse duties and customer interactions.
• Deliver batteries to customers safely and professionally; complete reports and claims.
