Job summary

ENT1009ECIL Bartender role seeks an energetic, guest-focused professional to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced bar environment. You will mix drinks, serve wine and beer, take orders, and ensure accurate payment recording.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of high-volume bar experience, knowledge of spirits, and the ability to read guests, upsell promotions, and collaborate with staff. Fluent English is required, with additional languages a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of bartending at high-volume bars or nightclubs.
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne and garnishments.
• Formal bartending training preferred.
• Must meet state legal age requirements.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or health/food handler card.
• Reading and writing abilities used for orders and paperwork.
• Mathematical skills used for calculations.
• May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide an energetic, outgoing, professional personality.
• Mix ingredients and prepare cocktails and other drinks according to recipes.
• Serve wine, bottled or draft beer.
• Take beverage orders from guests or serving staff.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
• Check guests' identification to ensure minimum age requirements.
• Present and encourage current promotions to guests.
• Record and account for all items ordered and collect payment.
• Account for sales and tips according to company policies.
• Perform side work as assigned.
