Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a bartender to serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced venue environment. You will be personable, professional, and flexible to work events as scheduled, maintaining excellent attendance.

The role pays an hourly rate of $7.00 and is tip eligible. Part-time benefits include a 401(k) savings plan and matching, with opportunities to learn across a premium live entertainment platform.

Qualifications

• Six months or more experience bartending.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Accurate cash handling skills are required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid alcohol compliance certification before events.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service and teamwork.
• Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following procedures and state/federal regulations.
• Learn and upsell beer, wine varieties and spirits to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly and verify guest IDs for legal age.
• Communicate cut-offs and handle customer requests calmly.
• De-escalate intoxicated guests and involve management if needed.
• Restock products and maintain a clean, sanitary bar workstation.
