Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in Irvine is seeking a dynamic Banquet Server to deliver high-level food and beverage service at weddings, meetings, and conferences. You will play a key role in creating seamless, elevated, and memorable events for our guests.

You will set up event spaces, coordinate with culinary and bar teams, and ensure guest experiences meet Sonesta's People People culture throughout fast-paced events and functions.

Qualifications

• Prior banquet/food service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced events environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional food & beverage service during banquets, weddings, meetings, conferences, and special events.
• Set up and break down banquet spaces, buffets, and stations according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages with presentation and hospitality standards.
• Answer guest questions and assist with requests to create a seamless event experience.
• Coordinate with Banquet Captains, Culinary teams, Bartenders, and F&B leadership for smooth execution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across banquet spaces and back-of-house areas.
