Luminarias in Monterey Park, CA is seeking a skilled Banquet Bartender to support events ranging from small gatherings to large-scale functions. You will prepare, set up, and break down banquet bars, mix and serve beverages, and engage guests with professional service.

Responsibilities include inventory, POS transactions, and coordination with event staff. Must have at least 1 year of banquet bartending experience, knowledge of jigger use, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of bartending experience in banquet/catering or high-volume events.
• Knowledge of jigger use, portion control, liquor laws, and responsible service.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, set up, and break down banquet bars quickly and efficiently for events.
• Mix and serve beverages accurately in high-volume banquet environments.
• Provide exceptional guest service and respond promptly to requests.
• Stock, organize, and replenish bar supplies before, during, and after events.
• Process guest transactions, balance cash, and use POS as required.
• Coordinate with banquet captains, servers, and culinary staff for smooth events.
• Maintain professional appearance and follow safety and sanitation standards.
• Follow alcohol service policies and verify identification as needed.
• Communicate supply needs to management to ensure adequate product availability.
